EKER Studio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the Balance: BMI & Weight Tracker app as a free/ad-free utility app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our application.
- Personal & Health Data: All health-related metrics (such as weight entries, height, BMI calculations, target weight, and calendar logs) entered into the app are stored exclusively locally on your device. We do not operate external databases or servers that collect, store, or transmit your health measurements.
- Biometric Data: If you enable biometric lock (Fingerprint or Face Unlock), authentication is processed entirely by your device’s operating system. The app does not access, collect, or store your biometric data.
2. Google Health Connect Integration
- If you grant explicit permission, Balance: BMI & Weight Tracker integrates with Google Health Connect to read and sync body weight and height measurements.
- Health Connect data is accessed only with your direct consent and is used strictly to display metrics within the app.
- We do not sell, transfer, or share your Health Connect data with any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
3. Crash Reporting and Diagnostics
- The application may collect anonymous technical crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose defects and improve app stability. These logs do not contain personal health entries or identifiable sensitive data.
4. Third-Party Access and Data Sharing
- We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
- All backups (such as CSV export) are generated locally and remain under your full control.
5. Medical Disclaimer
- Balance: BMI & Weight Tracker is intended for personal health tracking and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition or disease.
6. Children’s Privacy
- Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
